No, you do not need a referral from a doctor or specialist to book an appointment. Physiotherapists are first line practitioners.
Dress comfortably. Shorts is best if you have a complaint in the lower body and for upper body complaints, a strappy top is best for the ladies. Please bring your running shoes with if you have any complaints during your sports.

The session will start with a conversational interview to find out more about your condition and your lifestyle. Thereafter a thorough physical examination will take place, which may include functional activity or postural assessment together with specific tests and palpation of the area involved. We will then determine what treatment is the most suitable and tailor the treatment to fit your lifestyle and needs.
We use standard medical aid rates which are linked to the type of treatment.
The amount of sessions needed to reach your goals depends on the findings of your assessment. We will discuss the number of sessions and your expectations at the start of physiotherapy and plan according to your needs.
You can be assured that we will not carry on with treatment if it is no longer necessary. Our aim is to equip you with the necessary knowledge and understanding to be able to manage and prevent future injury.
Yes, you may stop your physiotherapy sessions at any time. We do, however, encourage early communication if you consider discontinuation prior to the sessions that were planned. This enables us to prioritise the important aspects of our sessions for you to get the most benefit out of it.
Yes, you are welcome to bring somebody with you to the physiotherapy sessions.
Yes, card facilities are available and accounts get sent to you immediately for medical claims.
Each medical aid provider has unique benefits. It is advisable that you find out from your provider if or/and how many physiotherapy sessions will be covered, prior to attending physiotherapy.
